The Hughson Family Resource Center’s purpose is to prevent child abuse and family violence, reduce
the effects of poverty and promote healthy lifestyles.

- The center conducts free classes, counseling and activities in English and Spanish.
- Classes include; family wellness, parenting, nutrition, childbirth education, infant care and child activities.
- The staff offers counseling to families and children in crisis and depression screening.
- Informative forums have included issues about: Mental Health, Immigration Issues, Internet Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Gang Awareness, etc.
- We are happy to serve the community by sponsoring the Christmas Basket project, Dr Seuss Night, Children’s Health Fair and Festival, free School Backpacks, and other enrichment services.
- We partner with city and county governments, and eight school districts to bring you the best services.
